I recently went to Yellowstone and being a thorough researcher and a compulsive book buyer, carefully perused multiple visitor center stores - this book definitely is the cream of the crop when it comes to hiking in Yellowstone.
The guy running the Yellowstone Association store at the visitor center concurred that this is THE guide to get/5(3). They break down the trails in a park on three basic levels (short, moderate, and long for the Yellowstone guide), give you directions to the Yellowstone Trails book, and describe highlights of the trail.
